Anduril is seeking a Sr Production Manager to join our FLT in Columbus, Ohio. The Sr Production Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing activities to meet production goals while maintaining safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of production supervisors, front-line team members, and support staff. Provide training, facilitate professional development, and conduct performance reviews.
- Champion an EHS-focused culture by ensuring production processes, equipment, and team members comply with established requirements. Actively work with the EHS team to continuously improve processes and drive accountability to 5S standards.
- Ensure products meet all quality standards and specifications. Implement and utilize quality control processes, participate in improvement and corrective action activities, and drive reduction in variability.
- Work closely with production planning to develop and execute production schedules to meet demand requirements.
- Develop and refine process instructions. Ensure these processes are diligently communicated, trained to, and followed.
- Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all production equipment is optimally utilized.
- Drive urgency and accountability by leveraging tools such as SPC, KPIs, and other performance data analysis. Employ problem solving and data-driven decision-making, and coach the production team to do the same.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field
- 10+ years experience in manufacturing
- 5+ years in manufacturing leadership
- Lean manufacturing experience
- Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of production management principles and demonstrated success executing them

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Work closely with the design team to ensure that quality is built into the product from the outset.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the product design and manufacturing processes for the overall vehicle,

This role will primarily support sourcing, purchasing, and proposal preparation for engineered components. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform purchasing of indirect (non-inventory) and direct (inventory) items, including raw materials, composite components, chemicals, electronic components, industrial equipment, supplies, services, outside processes, and consumables required
- Establish and maintain minimum and maximum levels of inventory and supplies to mitigate shortage risks
- Coordinate with ERP and configuration managers for demand planning and accuracy
- Participate in production and program meetings to report supply chain status and ensure appropriate planning
- Expedite orders to ensure required delivery dates are met and communicate status of open orders
- Support the management of suppliers as follows:
- Track and report supplier performance, supply chain metrics, and budgetary spend per program

Required Qualifications:

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Drive engineering projects and equipment deployments from conceptualization to implementation achieving specifications, budgets, and timelines
- Develop and implement tooling and part solutions at all levels of the manufacturing value chain including initial project scheduling and supporting schedule commitments of those selected
- Own a portion or all of the manufacturing value chain for a certain product or set of products
- Develop novel tooling solutions for fabrication and assembly of structural parts
- Develop process flows, breaking down large, complex assemblies into a logical part flow of subassemblies and sub-processes
- Write documentation required for successfully manufacturing their hardware at scale, such as work instructions, quality plans, inspection requirements, etc.
- Work with contract manufacturers across various disciplines (PCBA fab, metallic manufacturing, assembly, etc.) to develop repeatable, sustained processes for quick-turn development as well as at-scale production
- Work with technicians and other engineers hands-on, building prototype hardware with production hardware philosophies in mind.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technology related field
- A genuine interest in manufacturing and thirst for learning
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including GD&T
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (Solidworks, NX, CATIA preferred)
- Experience with MS Office and/or project management software skills
- Demonstrated in-kind or direct team leadership skills, with backing examples
- Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- As a Test and Evaluation (T&E) engineer, under minimal supervision, you will determine and develop various approaches to achieve T&E goals and help guide and perform the completion of test activities.
- This position will focus heavily on new aircraft development, with propulsion & flying qualities emphasis.
- Test duties include system level T&E of hardware and software with emphasis placed on resource planning, conducting ground and flight testing, process improvement/development and participating in technical test reviews.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Full cycle PCB design including collecting requirements, schematic design, component selection, supervision or completion of layout, bring-up, test, debug and integration with the system.
